Often called the ¡°festival of lights,¡± Diwali is observed around the world with food, rows of ceremonial candles and firecrackers symbolizing the victory of light over darkness.

¡°Diwali is all about family, friends, colorful designs, lights and some really good food. Even though it is celebrated in so many different ways across the globe, the sentiment attached to the festival is the same.¡±
